Sessions and folders

Find, pin, rename, share, and group your MiOSbot sessions, and reach every page from the sidebar.

Sessions

A session is one conversation with its own history. Your sessions are listed in the sidebar. Select New session to start one.

Each session shows its state at a glance:

You see What it means
Working… MiOSbot is working on your request.
Waiting for your answer MiOSbot asked you a question.
Waiting for approval or Approval needed An action is waiting for your decision. See Approvals.
Unread The session has new messages.

To find a session, use the filter in the sidebar. To list sessions that need you first, sort by Needs attention. You can also sort by Newest or A–Z.

Manage a session

Right-click a session, or open its menu, to:

  • Rename… the session, or set its icon and color.
  • Pin session to keep it at the top of the list.
  • Mark as unread to come back to it later.
  • Fork conversation to branch a copy and try a different direction.
  • Share session to share a read-only copy.
  • Close session to move it out of your open list. Closed sessions keep their history. To continue, select Reopen session.
  • Delete… to remove the session and its history.

Note: To get a temporary conversation, turn on Incognito when you start a new session. MiOSbot doesn’t keep incognito sessions long-term.

Folders

Folders group related sessions, such as all the work for one client or project.

  1. Select New folder and name it.
  2. To move a session, open its menu and choose Move to folder.
  3. To start new work inside a folder, open the folder’s menu and choose New session in followed by the folder name.

Ask about the current session

Open Side chat to ask a quick question about the current session in a separate panel. For example, “What have we decided so far?”

Find other pages

The sidebar lists pages such as Dashboards, Usage, Automations, Tasks, and Plugins. Open More for the rest. To change which pages appear, choose Edit pinned items.

To jump anywhere quickly, press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) and type a page or session name.

Some pages and actions need administrator access. If a page shows Browsing only, you can look but not make changes.
