Memory and the knowledge wiki

Ask MiOSbot to remember facts and preferences, correct or remove them, and search what it knows.

What MiOSbot remembers

MiOSbot keeps memory as saved notes, so it can use what it learned in one session in later sessions. It remembers what gets saved, such as:

  • Your preferences, like “Keep emails short and friendly.”
  • Facts about your business, like your service area or price list.
  • Decisions and summaries from earlier work.

MiOSbot doesn’t remember everything you say automatically. To be sure something is kept, ask it to remember.

In the background, MiOSbot also reviews recent notes and keeps the most useful ones in long-term memory.

Ask MiOSbot to remember

Tell MiOSbot in any session:

  • “Remember that our office is closed on Fridays.”
  • “Remember that Dana is our main contact at Brightline and prefers phone calls.”
  • “From now on, write all quotes in British English.”

MiOSbot saves the note and confirms. Later sessions can use it.

Correct or forget something

Ask MiOSbot to update or remove a note:

  • “Forget the old price list. The new hourly rate is $95.”
  • “Stop remembering my personal phone number.”

MiOSbot updates or removes the saved note. To check, ask “What do you remember about our pricing?”

Note: For a conversation you don’t want kept, start the session with Incognito turned on. See Sessions and folders.

Search memory

Ask in chat:

  • “What did we decide about the spring promotion?”
  • “Find what you know about the Harbor Street project.”

MiOSbot searches its memory and past sessions, then answers.

You can also search directly:

  1. Open Settings, then Memory.
  2. Select Memories.
  3. Search for a person, project, decision, or anything else MiOSbot remembers.

The knowledge wiki

When your workspace has the memory wiki turned on, MiOSbot also keeps a knowledge wiki. The wiki holds organized pages that collect what MiOSbot knows about a topic, along with where each fact came from.

Ask in chat:

  • “Write up what we know about our top three customers in the wiki.”
  • “What does the wiki say about our refund policy?”

Note: Your administrator chooses whether the memory wiki is on. It’s listed under Add-ons on the Memory settings page.
