Docs What it can do
Google Meet meetings
Have MiOSbot join a Google Meet to take notes, transcribe, or speak, then read the transcript in Meetings.
Ask MiOSbot to join a meeting
Send MiOSbot the Google Meet link and tell it what to do there.
Example requests:
- “Join https://meet.google.com/abc-defg-hij and take notes. Don’t speak.”
- “Join my 2 p.m. meeting and send me the decisions and action items afterward.”
- “Create a new Google Meet link for a call with our accountant.”
- “Join this meeting and answer questions about our delivery schedule.”
Choose how MiOSbot takes part
| Mode | What MiOSbot does |
|---|---|
| Notes only | Joins as a listener and transcribes what people say. It doesn’t speak. |
| Participant | Listens to the conversation and can speak replies out loud. |
Say “don’t speak” or “just take notes” for notes only.
What happens
- MiOSbot opens the meeting and asks to join.
- If the meeting has a waiting room, the host admits MiOSbot. If MiOSbot is stuck waiting to be admitted, it tells you.
- During the meeting, MiOSbot captures what’s said.
- After the meeting, ask MiOSbot for a summary, decisions, or action items.
Important: MiOSbot doesn’t announce itself when it joins. Tell the other participants that MiOSbot is attending and transcribing, and follow the recording consent rules that apply to your meeting.
Read transcripts in Meetings
Open Meetings to see saved meeting notes and transcripts, grouped by day. Select a transcript to:
- Read the conversation by speaker.
- Search within the transcript.
- See a summary when one is available.
- Download a copy as Markdown.
Note: Summaries are generated automatically. Check the transcript before you rely on decisions or action items.
Limits and requirements
- MiOSbot joins Google Meet links. It doesn’t join other meeting services.
- Speaking in a meeting needs voice support set up for your workspace. If it isn’t available, MiOSbot can still join to take notes.
- What you can see in Meetings depends on your workspace access. If transcripts are restricted, ask your workspace administrator.
