Docs MiOSbot
Plugins and connectors
Plugins add optional capabilities to MiOSbot, and connectors link the services you use. See what's available and how to turn it on.
What plugins do
Plugins add capabilities to your workspace, such as browsing websites, joining meetings, or making phone calls. Connectors link outside services, such as your notes or project tools, so MiOSbot can work with them from chat.
Open Plugins in the sidebar. The Installed tab lists every plugin in your workspace with its status: Enabled, Disabled, or Needs attention.
Plugins you can use
| Plugin | What it lets MiOSbot do | Example request |
|---|---|---|
| Browser | Open websites, read pages, and fill in forms | “Check our listing on the supplier portal and tell me if the price changed.” |
| Document Extraction | Read text from documents you attach | “Pull the totals out of these three PDFs.” |
| Google Meet | Join a meeting, take a transcript, and summarize it | “Join my 2 PM call and send me the action items.” |
| Voice Call | Make phone calls from your connected phone number | “Call the venue and confirm our booking for Friday.” |
| Talk Voice | Choose the voice MiOSbot uses in live voice conversations | “Switch to a different voice.” |
| Memory Wiki | Keep an organized knowledge wiki. See Memory. | “Add our refund policy to the wiki.” |
| 1Password | Use passwords and keys stored in your 1Password vault, with your approval | “Use the shipping account login to download last month’s invoices.” |
| File Transfer | Send files to and fetch files from your paired devices | “Copy this report to my office computer.” |
| Diffs | Show changes between two versions side by side | “Show me what changed between the old and new contract.” |
| Money Guard | Hold payments and other sensitive actions for approval. See Approvals. | “What needs my approval?” |
Messaging plugins, such as Slack, text messages, and email, let you reach MiOSbot outside the browser. See Channels.
Which plugins are on depends on how your workspace is set up. Ask your administrator to turn on a plugin you need.
Add a connector
The Plugins page includes Connect your world, a list of one-click connectors grouped by topic, such as Work & productivity. Examples include Notion, Airtable, and Google Calendar.
- Open Plugins.
- Find the service under Connect your world, or search for it.
- Select Add.
- If the connector needs a sign-in or an address, finish setup when prompted. A connector that’s ready works in new sessions right away.
Choose connectors from the message box
In the message box, select +, then Connectors, to see which connectors are on and turn their tools on or off. Select Manage plugins to open the Plugins page.
Important: Installing, enabling, disabling, or removing a plugin needs administrator access. Some of these changes restart the workspace service, which interrupts sessions that are working. Make changes when no important work is running.
