Docs MiOSbot
Dashboards and widgets
Ask MiOSbot to build a dashboard of live cards, charts, and tables for a session, then arrange it and find it again later.
Ask for a dashboard
Any session can have its own dashboard: a board of cards (widgets) that MiOSbot builds and keeps up to date. Ask in plain words:
- “Make a dashboard with this week’s sales, open invoices, and a chart of daily orders.”
- “Add a status card that shows how far along the website project is.”
- “Put our booking page on a dashboard tab so I can keep an eye on it.”
- “Turn this comparison into a table on the dashboard.”
MiOSbot adds the widgets and opens the dashboard next to the chat. It can also show the dashboard across the whole work area.
What a widget can show
| Widget | Shows |
|---|---|
| Report | Text, key numbers, tables, bar or line charts, and links |
| Progress | Live progress of a session’s task |
| Website | A live web page, if the site allows it to be shown inside another page |
MiOSbot can also organize widgets into tabs, such as “Sales” and “Operations”.
Arrange your dashboard
- Drag a widget to move it, or drag its corner to resize it.
- Open a widget’s menu (Widget options) to Move to tab, Resize, or Delete it.
- With the keyboard, select a widget and use the arrow keys to move between widgets. Hold Alt and press an arrow key to move the selected widget.
You can also ask MiOSbot: “Move the chart to the top” or “Remove the invoices card.”
Widgets that ask for access
Some widgets need extra access, such as loading data from a website. These widgets show Needs approval and stay inactive until you decide. Select Allow to turn the widget on, or Reject to keep it off.
Find your dashboards
Open Dashboards in the sidebar to see every session that has a saved dashboard.
- Search dashboards, filter by Author, or sort by Recently updated or Title A–Z.
- Dashboards that are updating show Live.
- Open a dashboard in focus mode to see it full size.
Note: A dashboard belongs to its session. To change a dashboard, open its session and ask MiOSbot there.
