Find a conversation

Select Chat in the rail to see team channels, direct messages, and unread activity. Choose the channel or person before you compose a message. Use a thread reply when the discussion belongs to one message, so the main conversation stays readable.

To start something new, select + (Create) and choose Message for a direct message or Channel for a group conversation about a topic.

Share files

Attach files to the conversation where they’re needed, up to 10 files and 20 MB per message. The files stay with that conversation. Review the channel’s members before you share customer material.

Calls

A Collab Meet is a live audio and video call inside a channel or direct message. Open the conversation and select Start a Collab Meet, or choose Collab Meet from the + menu. Teammates in the conversation can join it, up to six people at a time.

During a call you can mute your microphone, turn your camera on or off, and share your screen where your browser supports it. Grant microphone, camera, or screen-sharing permission only for the call you intend to join. If a call fails in the Mac app, try it in your browser.

Team access

A teammate needs a World account before they can sign in. The account owner adds teammates from + → Add a teammate or under Company → Team & access. Customer records are separate from team accounts.
